Another track from the Rayguns Album "Wake Up calls And Lullabyes" out April 7th. 2017.
Kelvin Flats was a brutalist highrise development built in the Upperthorpe area of Sheffiled, UK in the late 60's and demolished in 1995. This song started it's life as "Little by Little" a commentary on the infamous UK miners strike (84-85) written by Simon Hill and Sean Russell of the late 80's Sheffield band "Eat A Peach". The Rayguns version was put together in 2003, updated but with the same theme; Beware of political power junkies playing games with the economy, the workers will end up loosing everything from livelihood and community to dreams and aspirations. Read / stay smart / get organized / stand together!
